The Dailey Method, Reno has been a staple in my workout routine for a few years now. This is a bar method class which works on alignment, balance and controlled movements. It focuses on your whole core with each exercise.
This is a low impact class that delivers a high wellness impact. My core and back have never been stronger. When I don’t attend regularly, (that darn work thing can get in the way sometimes. Smiling.) I start feeling the aches and pains in my lower back fairly quickly. When I make the time to take care of myself and attend regularly my back and core are golden!
Dailey Method, Reno has taught me more about my body than I have learned in other classes. The bar method takes the mind-body connection to a whole new level by focusing on an awareness of each muscle group being part of a greater whole. During the class the teachers explain each connection and why each is so important. For example, while working on your triceps you are still focusing on keeping your abs tight and core aligned. Each exercise is connected to the last and the next at the same time.
The teachers are really amazing. They are friendly and willing to help at all times. In some ways, it feels like you are having a private class as they are walking through the class talking you through the movements. Each exercise is only a few minutes, so it is important to do it correctly.
If you have never been to Dailey Method, Reno, I highly recommend it! It is a welcoming community that works and motivates together.
